The QHSE / Health and Safety Manager position is a permanent role located in Clifton, Derbyshire.
The salary for this position ranges from £45,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Candidates should have previous experience as a Quality Manager, HSE Manager, or Health and Safety Manager within the regulated manufacturing sector.
A qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred, along with familiarity with various Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001 or AS9100.
The role includes managing health and safety functions, leading quality improvement activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

JOB- QHSE / Health and Safety Manager LOCATION – Clifton, DerbyshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a QHSE, Quality or H&S Manager on a permanent basis in the Clifton, Derbyshire area with experience in the manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to Manage the Health and Safety function as well as the day-to-day running of the Quality Management System. This would be suited for both a Quality Manager with experience of H+S as well as a Health and Safety Manager with experience of Quality.The QHSE Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience.
Previous experience as a Quality Manager, HSE Manager, Health and Safety Manager or similar title within regulated manufacturing.
Must have previous experience of working with either ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, IATF16949, Nuclear or similar Quality Management System.
Exposure to LEAN, Six Sigma and other similar Continuous Improvement principles.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
Good problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of assembly, mechanical machining, fabrication or similar manufacturing processes - beneficial
Familiar with IOSH, NEBOSH, ISO14001, ISO18001 or similar would be advantageous but not essential.

The QHSE Manager role will involve:

Overseeing both the Health and Safety function as well as the Quality Management systems.
Lead quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with ISO9001 regulations.
Implement procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Carry out audits across the site.
