SRG is working with a leading personal care and detergents manufacturer, based in Derbyshire. They are now looking for a formulation chemist to join the team. The role involves developing and formulating new products and line extensions, wet chemistry - stability testing, PH testing, lab mixing, leading technical projects, going to seminars and regulatory requirements on products. This role would suit candidates with 3+ years industrial experience within the personal care, home care or detergents industry.Working Hours: Hybrid Monday to Friday 8:45am-5pm - 1 day WFH, 25 days holiday + bank holidays Role / Description

  • Lead technical projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use a variety of wet chemistry techniques to Formulate and develop new and existing products
  • Review internal raw materials and ensure products meet internal standards
  • Develop and launch new products into the market while ensuring products meet the regulatory requirements
  • Attend seminars and keep up to date with market trends and insights

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry
  • 3+ years' experience in formulating personal care/ detergents products
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of regulatory processes
  • Full right to work in the UK - there is no sponsorship available for this role
