The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join a thriving construction business who have reached the size where they need to bring in a stand-alone Marketing Manager to manage the marketing function and eventually grow a small team.
The purpose of your job will be to develop, manage, and execute the marketing strategy with a focus on promoting the company’s brand, generating leads, and driving customer engagement across various channels. The Marketing Manager will work to ensure all campaigns align with business goals, attract new customers, and reinforce client loyalty.
This Company is located in the North Derbyshire area and would be Office based 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
This is a varied role and your key responsibilities will include:
- Marketing Strategy Development - Plan and implement strategic marketing initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring measurable results
- Content and Campaign Management - Create and manage content across digital platforms, including social media, email, website, and paid advertising, to enhance brand visibility and engagement
- Market Research and Analysis - Conduct market analysis and competitor research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
- Lead Generation and Conversion - Develop and optimise lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, monitoring and improving conversion rates.
- Brand Management - Maintain consistent brand messaging and visuals across all marketing materials, in line with brand guidelines.
- Events and Partnerships - Organise and coordinate marketing events, trade shows, and partnerships to increase brand reach and establish industry connections.
- Budget Management - Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and provide a strong return on investment.
- Data and Reporting - Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on insights to maximise results.
About You
You will Collaborate and work closely with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure aligned messaging and support for company goals. You will ideally have a background in B2B marketing and experience in the construction or transport industry would be an advantage but by no means essential.
As a strong marketing  ‘all-rounder’, you will have proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems. You will have a track record in developing unique, impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences. It will also be important that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating engaging content and a keen eye for ensuring accuracy in content, data, and brand messaging.
Finally, you will need to have strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and an aptitude for identifying challenges and devising innovative solutions.
