Job Purpose:
To manage the growth of all the company product groups in their multi sited Account portfolio (major food manufacturer), including the identification and development of new business, whilst managing the continuing and growing relationships with existing customers to ensure sustainability and growth of sales. Approx £12 million
Title: Senior Account Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
To ensure achievement of Account strategy and personal objectives.
The overall Management and development of the Account Portfolio.
Agree and achieve objectives for their Account Portfolio.
Manage and develop market research to increase market penetration and increase sales potential.
Develop and maintain systems with customers to increase reliability of sales forecasts.
Agree and develop systems and processes to manage and resolve customer service issues. This should utilise the knowledge gained from external relationships, internal experience and business capability.
Jointly facilitate the development and maintenance off effective working relationships between internal and external, throughout the business.
Adherence and maintenance of company commercial processes (Salesforce/NPPI/NOC).
Management of nominated specific projects.
Collation of market data.
Effectively manage all aspects of pricing.
Qualifications and knowledge:
Educated to degree standard or equivalent.
Established IT skills to include Windows NT, MS Office, Lotus notes, Excel, Access Database.
Previous experience in Sales/Marketing.
Excellent product knowledge
Skills and experience:
Excellent communication skills at all levels, including internal and external communication.
Sales/ Marketing background in a FMCG environment is preferable.
Good organisation skills with attention to detail.
A proven ability to achieve sales objectives/targets.
Numerically capable.
The ability to make sound business decisions in complex situations.
Project management skills.
Achievement of P&DR objectives
Achievement of individual sales budget.
Achievement of company GM2 level.
Achievement of company aged debt targets.
