About the Client:We are proud to represent a leading main contractor with a £1 billion turnover, known for delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK. Our client is embarking on an exciting £50 million industrial project and is seeking a talented Senior Site Manager to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:As the Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this significant project. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all site activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will be crucial in managing site teams, liaising with subcontractors, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficient project progression.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans.
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, ensuring effective communication and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Handle site logistics and resource allocation to optimize productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
  • A track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
