Panoramic Associates are working with a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental Design Consultancy serving the construction industry in recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in delivering end-to-end project services-from client briefings and planning to design, supervision, and completion.

Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerLocation: East Midlands (Hybrid)Type: Full-time Permanent

Join our team as a Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual and detailed design solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct detailed electrical design and calculations using software like HevaComp, Amtech, IES, and Dialux.
  • Produce comprehensive electrical specifications, schedules, reports, and technical papers.
  • Represent the company at client, design team, and site meetings (level-dependent).

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven experience in Electrical building design systems.
  • Proficient in design software (Amtech, Dialux, Relux).
  • Chartered status is an advantage; a commitment to ongoing learning is highly valued.
