Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Production Operative to join our Matlock based client.

Job Duties:

• Involvement in Quality issues, ensuring low wastage.
• Aiming for excellent housekeeping standards at all times.
• Liaising and communicating with team members effectively.
• Liaising with engineers on breakdowns and technical issues.
• Identifying issues on the plant to Team Leaders / Shift Manager.
• Ensuring changeovers run smoothly.
• Ensuring stoppages are kept to a minimum.
• Completion of the production report spreadsheet.
• Ensure that effective implementation of the company Health & Safety policy is maintained and that all legislation pertaining to safety, COSHH and environmental rulings are complied with.
• Ensure risk assessments and safe operatingprocedures are adhered to at all times.
• Undertake designated tasks as allocated by Managers which may be in the production or other areas.
• Production duties include: Operation of Production Line, manual handling, & Flt driving.
• Undertake duties that may be required of you but are not production related.

Requirements:

• Understanding of quality demands.
• Organisational skills.
• Understanding of engineering related plant issues.
• Ability to work within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements with a strong safety focus.
• Ability to follow instruction.
• FLT Licence.
• Telehandler Licence.
• Willingness to accept change.
• Able to accept responsibility.
• Flexible to support team requirements in working overtime or shift changes at short notice.

Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters rotation.

Salary: 31,434 Per Annum.

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
