Our client, a leading manufacturer in foam and fibre conversion products based in north Derbyshire, is looking for an enthusiastic General ProductionOperatives and Assemblersto join their team with an excellent opportunity for temp to perm - full training will be given to the right individuals.

About the Role:

As a GeneralProduction Operative, you will play a crucial role in the production team, ensuring the assembly of high-quality foam products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reading and interpreting assembly specifications
  • Operating a glue gun to apply non-toxic, water-based glue to foam products.
  • Using tape measures and other tools to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
  • Following standardised work and job flow diagrams with high accuracy.
  • Meeting daily production assembly targets.
  • Accessing product specifications via a computer database.
  • Conducting quality checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborating effectively with your team to achieve production goals.
What Our Client is Looking For:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Basic maths skills are essential.
  • 5S training (desirable but not essential).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently without supervision.
