Consolidation & Audit Manager | Full time and Permanent | Derby | Salary £50,000 + £60,000 DOE

Ashley Kate Finance are thrilled to be partnering with a leading global provider of integrated manufacturing solutions who are in search for a skilled Consolidation & Audit Manager.

The purpose of this role is to Lead Finance team through Consolidation & Audits.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Consolidation

  • Support new IFRS and country/UK reporting requirements by providing support and guidance
  • Lead the allocations & consolidations reporting workstream
  • Partner with Finance site controllers
  • Quarterly and annual financial reporting disclosures

Audits

  • Responsible for initiating and managing audits, that include financial, operational, compliance and information technology audits
  • Build, coordinate and direct the audits for the Group/LAT/Countries
  • Report and communicate to audit committee
  • Reporting review findings to senior management at local, global functional and Group (& Board) level
  • Monitoring risks and coordinating business risk assessments as preliminary step for audit plan development (Shinewing for LAT and country/Group)

Core Skills and Attributes of the successful candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or finance or audit.
  • 5 years of accounting/finance experience overseeing shared service functions, using a large ERP system
  • Demonstrated experience of working through a variety of audits & consolidation of legal entities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve problems
  • Ability to analyse and reconcile financial data
  • Knowledge of personal computer databases and spreadsheets
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a high performing team, as needed

Other Information:

Your working hours are Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm.

This role will be mainly remote; however you will need to be able to get to the Derby office at least once a week to be with the finance team.
