Job Title: Interim CFO (SaaS Private Equity)Location: East Midlands (Hybrid 2/3 days on site)Contract: 6 months+ Day Rate: £1200/£1500 per day PAYE
I have an immediate requirement for a candidate to join a Private Equity backed SAAS business based in the East Midlands. As Interim CFO, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the senior leadership team and driving strategic financial decisions during a period of significant change. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned financial leader from a SaaS background to add value in a challenging time for the business.
Key Responsibilities:* Deliver the companies year end, coordinating the internal team and leading the relationship with the external auditors.* Lead the finance team to ensure the company's financial operations are efficient, accurate, and scalable.* Provide financial leadership and strategic advice to the board and senior management team.* Partner with the private equity investors to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.* Drive the implementation of best practice financial controls and reporting systems.* Oversee financial reporting, including management accounts, cash flow management, and financial statements.* Lead funding efforts, liaising with investors and ensuring the business has the financial resources needed to execute its strategy.* Support M&A activity, due diligence, and integration as the company explores growth opportunities.* Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
Required Experience & Skills:* Proven experience as a CFO, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven business.* Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.* Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience).
