The post is based at the Etwall Centre and covers the Ashbourne and Etwall area which is a mixture of rural and town areas. The social worker will complete single assessments, S47 assessments, hold Child in Need and Child Protection cases, and court cases if required. The social worker will also be part of the duty system.

The Social worker will be expected to be based in the office on mandatory days which are Tuesday and Wednesday, and any other days that they are on duty.
