Overview:

We're looking for an experienced D365 Engineer for a 3-6 month contract to audit and improve a misaligned Dynamics 365 setup across multiple environments. You'll bring a strong blend of technical and functional experience and be ready to hit the ground running alongside a small but capable team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and reconfigure the current Dynamics 365 setup to improve system efficiency and performance
  • Work with two in-house engineers to streamline the setup across 8 environments
  • Deliver both functional and technical enhancements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Build dashboards and support reporting requirements using Power BI
  • Ensure strong configuration, integration, and security best practices are in place

Technical Requirements:

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 - ideally within, Customer Engagement, Sales, or Supply Chain
  • Strong understanding of customisation techniques including custom entities, Power Automate flows, and plugins
  • Skilled in Power Platform tools - Power BI, Power Automate, and ideally Power Apps
  • Comfortable managing multiple environments and following ALM best practices
  • Experience with integration tools such as Logic Apps, custom APIs, or connectors
  • Familiar with data migration, D365 Data Import/Export framework, and Excel templates
  • Confident working in a hybrid setting with minimal oversight

Additional Info:

  • Immediate start preferred
  • Outside IR35
  • On-site presence required in Nottingham or Wolverhampton (hybrid possible)
  • Day rate: £Negotiable
