Based in Derbyshire, they produce and distribute a wide range of popular consumer goods and are dedicated to maintaining a high standard of environmental health and safety (EHS) at their manufacturing facilities.
Description
- Implementing and monitoring EHS policies and regulations.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
- Identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures.
- Providing EHS training to employees.
- Ensuring compliance with all local and national EHS regulations.
- Assisting in incident investigations and reporting.
- Coordinating with team members and management to improve EHS performance.
- Promoting a culture of safety within the organisation.
Monday - Friday Days Based
Profile
A successful EHS Specialist should have:
- Recognised qualification in Health & Safety (i.e. IOSH, NEBOSH etc.)
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in risk management and incident response.
- Ability to train and influence others on EHS practices.
Job Offer
- £40,000 - £45,000 (Experience Dependant)
