Job Title: General Operative (Assembler) - Temp to Perm
Location: Matlock, Derbyshire
Pay Rate:£11.44 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly pay rate

Our client, a leading manufacturer in foam and fibre conversion products based in north Derbyshire, is looking for an enthusiastic General Operative (Assembler) to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis!
About the Role:As a General Operative (Assembler), you will play a crucial role in the production team, ensuring the assembly of high-quality foam products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting assembly specifications in both 2D and 3D formats.
- Operating a glue gun to apply non-toxic, water-based glue to foam products.
- Using tape measures and other tools to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Following standardised work and job flow diagrams with high accuracy.
- Meeting daily production assembly targets.
- Accessing product specifications via a computer database.
- Conducting quality checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborating effectively with your team to achieve production goals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Basic maths skills are essential.
- 5S training (desirable but not essential).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently without supervision.
