We are currently working in partnership with a well-established Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a People Team Coordinator on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Derbyshire, with hybrid working (3 days home working, possibly more depending on business needs) and a salary of £30,000 per annum.
The successful candidate must have prior HR administration experience and must be IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office and HR systems such as Cascade.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the People Team with any contractual documentation issues in relation to variations and terminations of employment and keeping the HR information system up to date
- Arranging and coordinating the Occupational Health surveillance process with the Repairs Planners and associating administration on the HR Information System (HRIS)
- Acting as first point of contact for team members throughout the business assisting with basic queries and signposting more complex queries to the relevant People team member
- Managing the People Team Outlook In-box and dealing with general queries and signpost more complex queries
- Ensuring all compliance training is proactively arranged and recorded (Gas Safe, First Aid, Fire Safety etc).
- Administration and management of the buy and sell holidays process and supporting the administration of all salary exchange/sacrifice schemes
- Collating and responding to all training requests and professional sponsorship: creating and booking courses, sending invitations, and monitoring attendance, keeping training history up to date, updating the training schedule, enquiring about courses as well as setting up payments for courses
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
- Experienced HR Administrator / Coordinator with high attention to detail
- Excellent IT literacy with experience of HRI systems, ideally IRIS Cascade HR and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and concisely
