Location: East MidlandsHours: Full-time (37 hours per week)Core Hours: 10 AM - 4 PM (flexible scheduling around these hours)Salary: £26,500 - £32,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Residential Childcare Assessor to join our dedicated team. You will support a cohort of 30-50 learners studying Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications, conducting at least three learner visits daily, with Fridays allocated for administrative work. Travel will be limited to a maximum of 2 hours round trip (ideally 1 hour). Nighttime work is optional for those who prefer flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct learner visits in line with awarding body requirements (City & Guilds, TQUK, Pearsons).
- Guide and assess learners to achieve their qualifications.
- Maintain accurate learner progress records.
- Ensure a high standard of support without onboarding responsibilities.
What You'll Bring:
- Qualifications: Assessor and teaching qualifications (e.g., A1, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
- Qulifications: Residential childcare or CYPW qualifications
- Experience: Industry experience within residential childcare.
- Experience: Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively.
