Description

The Sales Order Processor will be responsible for:

  • Inputting customer orders into the system accurately and efficiently.

  • Sending order confirmations to customers and providing details about delivery time lines.

  • Checking inventory levels to ensure products are available for fulfilment.

  • Communicating with sales, warehouse, and shipping departments to ensure timely order processing.

  • Addressing any issues or discrepancies with orders, such as pricing errors or stock shortages.

  • Maintaining accurate records of orders, customer interactions, and any changes to orders.

  • Assisting customers with inquiries about their orders, shipping statuses, and returns.

  • identifying areas for improving the order processing work flow and suggesting enhancements..

  • Generating reports on order processing metrics, such as order volume and fulfilment times, for management review.

  • Deal with any customer queries and provide a suitable solution.

Profile

  • Demonstrable experience in sales order processing, customer service, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Strong skills in using order management software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to accurately enter and manage data, with a focus on minimising errors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Capacity to identify issues and propose effective solutions quickly.
  • A focus on providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs.
