Description
You will play a key role in managing and optimizing our diverse property portfolio, providing expert advice and handling a wide range of estates management responsibilities. The position offers a blend of office-based and remote working, allowing for flexibility while maintaining strong connections with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied portfolio of council properties, including commercial, residential, and community assets
- Handling lease negotiations, rent reviews, and lease renewals
- Providing strategic advice on property matters to internal departments
- Conducting property inspections and preparing detailed reports
- Managing relationships with tenants and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the council's property strategy and asset optimization initiatives
Profile
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- MRICS qualified with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in estates management and landlord & tenant matters
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Experience in property valuation and asset management
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities
- Valid driving license and ability to travel throughout the region
Job Offer
A salary of circa £55,000 + benefits is on offer for the successful candidate.
