Business lecturer

Business LecturerSalary: Up to £35,000 per annumAn established further education provider In Derbyshire is looking to bring on board a full time Business lecturer to join their academic team.

Delivery will revolve around OCR level 2 & 3. Any experience/knowledge of T levels would also be desirable as they will be looking to deliver this from September 2025 onwards.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures on Business subjects, focusing primarily on OCR Level 2 & 3 qualifications- Design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other assessment methods- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Business curriculum- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and academic performance- Ensure compliance with the institution's policies, procedures, and standards.Qualifications and Experience:- A relevant degree in Business or a related field- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) is highly desirable- Proven experience in teaching Business subjects, preferably at further education level- Strong knowledge of OCR Level 2 & 3 Business qualifications and curriculum- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.They are offering a competitive benefits package and will be looking to interview in the coming weeks.
