Macildowie are excited to be working with a great Public Sector Organisation based in Derbyshire who are seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract. You will play a key role in delivering first-class HR services across a defined geographical area. From employee relations to talent development and workforce planning, you'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping to shape a positive and inclusive workplace.

The role is paying £40,000 per annum and offer hybrid working with the expectation of some regional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice on people-related risks, employment relations, and workforce strategies.
  • Proactively address HR challenges and collaborate with teams to drive positive organisational change.
  • Provide clear, practical advice on HR policies, best practices, and employment law.
  • Lead complex HR processes, including restructures, TUPE transfers, redundancies, and employee relations casework.
  • Support managers in handling performance, absence, and grievance issues with confidence and fairness.
  • Oversee key HR processes, including contracts, probation, and policy updates to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure payroll processes are accurate and delivered on time, supporting salary reviews and promotions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in a Business Partnering capacity
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading on Employee Relations issues alongside previous experience leading change and TUPE initiatives.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Package & Benefits:

  • £42,000 per annum
  • 35 days annual leave (including Public Holidays)
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week from home)
