Macildowie are excited to be working with a great Public Sector Organisation based in Derbyshire who are seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract. You will play a key role in delivering first-class HR services across a defined geographical area. From employee relations to talent development and workforce planning, you'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping to shape a positive and inclusive workplace.
The role is paying £40,000 per annum and offer hybrid working with the expectation of some regional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice on people-related risks, employment relations, and workforce strategies.
- Proactively address HR challenges and collaborate with teams to drive positive organisational change.
- Provide clear, practical advice on HR policies, best practices, and employment law.
- Lead complex HR processes, including restructures, TUPE transfers, redundancies, and employee relations casework.
- Support managers in handling performance, absence, and grievance issues with confidence and fairness.
- Oversee key HR processes, including contracts, probation, and policy updates to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure payroll processes are accurate and delivered on time, supporting salary reviews and promotions.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a Business Partnering capacity
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified or equivalent experience
- Experience leading on Employee Relations issues alongside previous experience leading change and TUPE initiatives.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Package & Benefits:
- £42,000 per annum
