The Role: IT Pre-Sales Consultant
Are you an experienced IT sales professional ready to lead and drive pre-sales activities from start to finish? We are looking for an IT Pre-Sales Consultant to work closely with our Sales Team, identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored IT solutions that meet customer needs. You'll play a crucial role in translating technical requirements into actionable solutions and ensuring smooth implementation through collaboration with the delivery team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for IT and a desire to make a tangible impact on our customers' success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to expert for all IT sales queries.
- Manage IT sales opportunities from discovery through to implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT consultants, Account Managers, and the IT Technical Support Team.
- Attend sales meetings with prospective IT clients to help close deals.
- Develop and deliver IT training for the Sales Team, coaching colleagues when needed.
- Create marketing and sales materials, including writing blog posts and social media content for the IT vertical.
About You:
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within IT.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support and as an IT Engineer.
- Strong expertise in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure), Networking Concepts (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Access Points), and Windows Operating Systems (Desktop and Server).
- Experience with Virtualisation Technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
- A results-oriented, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills.
