As they continue to grow their online presence, they are looking for an Ecommerce
Executive to support the Ecommerce Manager in the day-to-day operations of two key websites, ensuring an optimal shopping experience for their customers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career in ecommerce within a dynamic and growing company.
This is a permanent opportunity where you will be able to work hybrid, 3 days a week in the office near to Kegworth so it is easily commutable from most areas of the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
The purpose of this role will be to assist the management and optimisation of the ecommerce websites. You will support the Ecommerce Manager in maintaining website content, improving the online shopping experience, and analysing performance data to drive growth.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the company websites, ensuring products, categories, and promotions are correctly displayed and optimised
• Upload and update product listings, descriptions, and images to maintain an accurate and engaging online catalogue
• Support with the execution of ecommerce campaigns, promotions, and email marketing initiatives
• Monitor website performance, user experience, and customer journey using tools like GA4 and Hotjar to identify areas for improvement
• Assist in analysing sales, traffic, and conversion data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Support in testing website functionality, identifying bugs, and liaising with the development team to
resolve issues
• Assist with reporting on ecommerce performance, compiling data in Excel to track KPIs
• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure seamless ecommerce operations
• Assist with the management and optimisation of paid advertising and SEO initiatives where required
About You
Ideally, you will have previous experience in an ecommerce role, preferably within retail or a related industry with an understanding of ecommerce platforms (experience with Magento and Shopify is advantageous).
You will have an analytical mindset with strong reporting skills and high attention to detail because you will be working with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and interpret website performance data etc.
Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp is beneficial and experience using website analytics and heatmapping tools would also be advantageous.
