About The Role:We are looking for a highly motivated Estates Officer (Mechanically biased) to join our team. The role involves managing mechanical systems, such as water, ventilation, medical gas, and boiler house management, while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

You will also manage contractors, support capital projects, and maintain accurate records using relevant systems. Occasional travel to satellite locations and participation in an on-call rota will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safe systems of work across various mechanical disciplines
  • Act as an Authorised Person (AP) for mechanical systems
  • Provide technical expertise and support for capital projects
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conduct audits, prepare reports, and ensure accurate asset management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HND in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in estates management within a complex environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience as an Authorised Person in mechanical systems
