Our client is an Earthworks and Ground Improvement Contractor with expertise in Bulk Earthworks, Land Surveys, Stabilisation, Geotechnical Services, and Waste Management Solutions.

Role Description

The company are growing sustainably, as a result they have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor located in Derbyshire, with flexibility for remote work. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, planning, and reporting. The role involves overseeing cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency, and liaising with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, ground stabilisation contractor
  • Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills
  • Experience in preparing BOQs and Cost Planning
  • Knowledge of construction project cost management
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Professional certification or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
