If so, then this role is for you!This fantastic NFP organisation are looking for a Senior Research Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of research and evaluation projects in the areas of education, skills, and wellbeing (including sport and physical activity). Sitting between our Senior Management Team and Research Executives, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What You'll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of research and evaluation projects, overseeing planning, budgets, and team members.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of progress and emerging findings.
  • Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, literature reviews, and data analysis.
  • Lead the analysis and synthesis of findings, producing reports, briefings, and presentations that support client decision-making.
  • Identify risks and challenges in project delivery and escalate where necessary.
  • Line manage and mentor junior research staff, supporting their professional development.What They are Looking For:
  • Strong experience in research and evaluation, with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods, ideally gained from an agency setting or client-side role
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to evolving client needs.
  • Commercial awareness-while we are a not-for-profit, we rely on project funding and need a commercial approach.What They Offer
