Are you a qualified Secondary Education Food technology Teacher? Are you seeking a new challenge?

LTF Recruitment are working alongside a school in Sandiacre (NG10) who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology to start ASAP, for a long-term cover until July 2025 (and possibly permanent for the right applicant). The school is currently graded 'Good' by OFSTED.

The main duties within the role will be:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
  • Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs
  • Delivering KS4 examination content
  • Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
  • Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
  • Attending weekly department meetings to help drive forward the schools attainment levels

The school are looking for someone who:

  • Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome)
  • Is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
  • Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
  • Is an excellent team player and will work cohesively with the team
