- 3-5+ minimum industry experience
- Embedded Software Programming in C
- Experience with VHDL for hardware description and FPGA development
- Knowledge of both analogue and digital hardware
- Experience of real time embedded systems, NIOS II softcore processor, DSP algorithms and techniques.
- Compilers – GNU Complier Collection, ARM Compiler, IAR Embedded Workbench
- Debuggers – GNU Debugger, JTAG, J-Link, TRACE32
- IDE’s – Eclipse, Keil µVision, Visual Studio, MPLAB X
- Experience with application-level programming languages such as Python, Visual C, Rust etc.
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Normal holiday entitlement is 26 days plus bank holidays a year: including office closure days over the Christmas period.
- Pension in the current scheme equates to an 8% contribution (3% from the employer and 5% from the employee).
- Discretionary bonus scheme – 5% of salary.

- Normal hours of work will equate to 37.5 hours per week. The Company operates flexitime with core hours between 9.00 am and 3.45 pm (3.00 pm on Fridays).
