Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: DE13Contract: Full-timeSalary: Up to £115 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with additional needs? A welcoming and inclusive school in the DE13 area is looking for a dedicated SEN TA to join their team on a full-time basis. Youll be working with a young pupil with ASD. The work is prodominently relationship building and play based.

The Role
  • Providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Working closely with teachers to deliver differentiated learning plans.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and independence.
  • Supporting students in both one-on-one and group settings as needed.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of EHCPs and behaviour plans.
What We're Looking For
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
  • A proactive approach to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
