My client in the area of Chesterfield are looking for time served Plater / Welders.Duties of the Role- Utilise hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components- Perform welding tasks MIG to join metal parts(tack welds)- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication- Work with sheet metal to create various components- Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet standards- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshopQualifications- Previous experience in plating especially heavy plate work- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for metalwork-Able to use the gas axe for weld preps and general burning- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings- Experience with MIG welding techniques- Knowledge of basic maths for measurements and calculations- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipWorking Days / AftersIND123
