My client in the Buxton area are looking for x 5 time served Welder / Fabricators.Duties of the Role:Weld and fabricate a variety of bespoke components using stainless steel, nickel alloys and mild steel materials, gauge of sheet metal generally between 0.9mm & 6mm thickness.Weld and fabricate frameworks from mild steel rolled, stainless steel, hollow section and angle iron to a high standard.Read engineering drawings and translate that into an end product with minimum supervision.Achieve a high standard of finish/tolerance on bespoke fabricated products.Complete problem logs regarding issues with drawings and materials.Carry out site work when necessary.Key skills and qualifications:Apprentice trained (City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent in fabrication and welding) and/or time served fabricator/welder.Previous experience in the welding and fabrication of bespoke products, including sheet metal, working within a light / medium fabrication working environment.Good MIG, TIG and spot-welding skills are essential, the interview will include a weld test.Have good calculation skills and have the ability to work to fine tolerances.Capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team.Highly motivated with a team orientated work styleAccuracy and attention to detail.Willingness to travel if required.Working DaysIND123
