Anderselite are working with a Tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Contracts Manager to work within the Defence & Adjacent Markets.

To be considered for this role you MUST have worked within Defence, Civils or Infrastructure (Water/Utilities is also preferable too).


Key experience needed
- Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Health, Safety and Sustainability. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact operations.

Strategic Planning
Delivery of contracts in line with business objectives, considering available & required resources to maintain safety, quality and reputation

- Commercial
Achieve business plan revenue and EBITDA targets for the relevant contracts under their control. Achieve average WIP weeks target. Review, report and adapt as necessary. Work collaboratively with other Contracts Managers.

- Operational Management
Oversee the day-to-day operation of contracts under their control to ensure safety, efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage Project controls and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement and implement change where required.

- Resource Management
Manage and allocate resources, including budgeting and financial planning across individual contracts & projects.
Optimise resource utilisation to achieve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency. Work collaboratively with the other Contracts Managers.
Recruit new resources when required

- Risk Management
Identify and mitigate contract specific risks that may impact the organisation.
Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions.

- Client
Appropriate Client relationship and understanding clients needs.
Ensure that operational processes align with customer expectations and satisfaction.
Potential business development in new and existing markets to identify new opportunities
