This organisation pride themselves on delivering high-quality, client focused solutions across various sectors. They are now seeking a proactive and detail-orientated residential conveyancing paralegal to support the solicitors with managing residential property transactions from start to finish.This is an excellent opportunity with someone who has strong experience in a residential conveyancing role and who communicates strongly both written and verbally. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong customer service skills and have used the Microsoft packages previously.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.
  • Drafting legal documents, including missives, dispositions, and securities.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
  • Conducting property searches and handling Land Register applications.
  • Preparing documentation for settlement and ensuring all legal requirements are met.
  • Managing case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Providing administrative support to the property team as needed.
  • Client liaison, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with legal software and case management systems.
