PCB Design Engineer job in Mayfield (East Sussex) - £45k - £55k D.O.E
Hexwired Recruitment is seeking a talented and motivated PCB Design Engineer to join an innovative and industry-leading electronics manufacturer.
In this role, as PCB Design Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining PCB designs across a diverse range of products. Collaborating closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Mechanical teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, production-ready PCB designs optimised for both manufacturing and assembly processes.
Key skills required for this PCB Design Engineer Job:
- Skilled in using PCB design software, including Altium Designer and comparable tools, with a preference for Altium.
- Proven experience in developing designs from initial concepts through prototyping to final assembly and production.
- Comprehensive understanding of electronic design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes, including considerations for EMC compliance, high-speed circuits, and high-voltage designs.
- Proficient in interpreting and creating PCB layouts that adhere to BS/ISO standards, such as those for EMC and LVD compliance.
- Detail-oriented professional with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to design challenges.
