Position Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team based in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and delivering exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks including testing, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing appropriate solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues or hazards and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Complete planned maintenance schedules in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and fixtures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and external contractors to coordinate work activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures at all times, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and clients as required.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge in the field of electrical maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a mobile capacity.
  • Recognized electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 236/2330, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and regulations.
  • Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal hours and travel to different sites as required.
