We're looking for a Test Engineer for our client based in Royston. You will be carrying out testing of integrated system prototypes, hardware and software subsystems for ground-breaking life science products.

Responsibilities:

* Testing of integrated system prototypes, hardware and software subsystems.
* Accurate recording of observations in test reports for use in developing the system.
* Refining test procedures to create formal verification protocols.
* Following protocols to document results for FDA submission.
* Sourcing and qualifying test equipment.
* Providing assistance to the team to make system improvements.

Requirements:

* Able to develop precise test protocols using a methodical approach.
* Understanding of electronic, software, and mechanical systems for troubleshooting.
* Experience working with ISO13485.
* Knowledge of Python useful.
* Knowledge of molecular diagnostics useful.
