Automotive Engine Builder

Royston, Hertfordshire

£30-40k (based on experience)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 5:30 pm

Our client, a leading supplier of engine-based components, is seeking an Engine Builder to join their team in Royston, Hertfordshire. if you have proven experience in engine building this could be a great fit. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble engines according to specified guidelines and quality control standards.
  • Ensure proper fitting and correct torque of all components.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on completed engines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols.
  • Assist with other workshop tasks when necessary.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Solid experience in engine building or mechanical engineering is essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engine building or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a thorough understanding of engine components and operation.
  • High attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
