We are seeking Skilled CNC Milling Setter Operators, to join our team here at Kristek Precision. The successful applicants will set and operate milling machine tools to meet customer standards & specifications.
You will work on a mix of high-quality components, in small to medium batch quantities, within a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines using Siemens & Fanuc controls
- Follow manufacturing quality plans, improving and developing as required
- Ensure machines are operating efficiently
- Inspect finished products for visual quality and drawing specification
- Use various measuring equipment to inspect components
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve processes
- Populate route cards & SFDC system to record manufacturing information
- Communicate well with other team members
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Work safely and report any Health and Safety issues
Requirements, Skills, Experience
- Experienced and skilled with setting & operating CNC Milling machines
- Able to produce products in a range of materials mostly metal
- Adhering to quality standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings to a good standard
- Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Computer literate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive and proactive approach to Continuous Improvement
- Familiar with either Siemens or Fanuc Controls would be helpful but not essential
Hours of Work, Remuneration, Benefits
Double day shifts + Average 15% shift allowance (Two week rota)
39 hours per week Monday to Friday (30 mins paid break)
Week 1 Mon Thu 6:00 am 14:00 pm. Fri 6:00 am 13:00 pm
Week 2 Mon Thu 14:00 pm 22:00 pm. Fri 12:00 pm 19:00 pm
Salary includes shift premium. £33,000 - £40,000 depending on skills and experience.
