£55,000pa - £59,000pa + Car Allowance

West Wiltshire area

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with New Build experience to join our client on a full-time permanent basis. As Site Manager, you will be managing New Build projects and responsible for all employees and sub-contractors on site.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure all employees and subcontractors adhere to site rules and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Support the Divisional Director in developing the site programme to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of conduct, workmanship, site presentation, and housekeeping
  • Coordinate with the buyer for the procurement of main and bulk materials
  • Foster and sustain positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislative requirements and consult with professional advisors as needed.
  • Act as the company's representative on-site and assist visitors as required

Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidates will have proven experience in managing the construction of new build housing projects
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential
  • A Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification is required
  • A full driving licence and access to a car are necessary
  • Training in first aid and temporary works is preferred
