Project ManagerFull Time & Hybrid12 Month Temporary ContractMelkshamUp to £55,000Are you an experienced Depot / Operations or Project Manager from the Rail industry?Do you enjoy liaising with customers and field service teams?Do you have flexibility to travel to various sites?Our client is looking for an experienced rail professional to lead the management, planning and implementation of large-scale rail systems projects through to successful completion.Duties will include;-

  • Provide leadership and co-ordination of the project stakeholders
  • Manage client relationships with key stakeholders across the project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the project
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Manage project budget and finances and liaise with appropriate contacts
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • HSEQ assurance and risk management
  • Reporting regularly to senior management to provide project updates
  • Maximising opportunities via project change process

Candidate Specification;-

  • MUST have experience in a rail project environment
  • Experience in managing technical projects at a system level
  • Experience in managing commercial aspects of large-scale projects
  • Degree qualified in engineering or technical subject an advantage
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management (Prince 2 or APM certified)
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, change management, risk management & techniques
