Service Delivery Coordinator

We are seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator to join our clients Service Delivery Department. This role involves the accurate and timely processing of customer information and orders, advocating for customer needs within the department, and maintaining effective communication across various departments to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Process SAP ERP Customer Information, Purchase Orders, Delivery Schedules, Sales Orders, Quotes, Order Acknowledgments, Quality Notifications, and maintain order books.
  • Act as a Customer Advocate by promoting customer needs within the Service Delivery Department and across other departments.
  • Utilise the Service Delivery CRM system to record customer contacts, issues, project information, complaints, and tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date shared data in collaboration areas and liaise with various departments (e.g., Purchasing, Business Development, Production, Engineering) to resolve service delivery issues.
  • Accurately minute inter-departmental and customer meetings.
  • Handle daily service delivery communications with customers primarily through telephone and email, both inbound and outbound.
  • Provide occasional support at customer-facing meetings, both on-site and off-site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • O Level / GSCE level education.
  • Experience in customer service and using MRP systems for order book management, schedule management, purchasing, expediting, quoting, or invoicing.
  • Strong organisational, time management, prioritisation, and administrative skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry or multi-channel reseller background is preferred.
  • Proficient in SAP or similar MRP systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • CRM system experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with key customer contacts.
  • Experience in handling service delivery complaints and using appropriate escalation routes.
