New Resource Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading furniture manufacturer, for a skilled Upholsterers to join their well-established and close-knit team.
About the Role:
We are looking for experienced Upholsterers who have worked in fast-paced furniture manufacturing environments. This role requires an eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to meet high-quality standards in a dynamic factory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and upholster furniture to the required design and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, including correct PPE usage (eye/ear protection, safety footwear, dust masks, gloves if required).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
- Handle materials correctly to avoid damage to products and ensure personal safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to follow design specifications accurately with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with factory environments and processes is beneficial.
Hours:Monday Thursday: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM 1:00 PM
