Scope of the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Administrator/Document Control to manage the calibration system and document control processes at our clients large manufacturing facility. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and supports various departments, ensuring adherence to standard procedures for calibration and document control. You will also serve as backup for Dock Audit and Production Quality Auditors when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Control:
Manage controlled documents in line with procedures (QCAP4, GQMS2).
Ensure documents are approved, up-to-date, and correctly identified.
Update documents as required and prevent use of obsolete versions.
Maintain and update communication exchange with other network locations.
Provide training and guidance on document control practices.
Calibration Management:
Manage the calibration system (QCAP5), ensuring equipment is calibrated on time.
Maintain detailed logs for calibration status and records (e.g., out of calibration log, CAS, FEAR).
Coordinate calibration services, repair, and replacement for equipment.
Work with departments to determine calibration needs and timelines.
Additional Responsibilities:
Back-up support for Dock Audit and Production Quality Auditors.
Ensure compliance with corporate, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) events and initiatives.
Technical Skills:
Fully computer literate (MS Word, Excel, SharePoint).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Technical or Business-related discipline.
Knowledge of Quality Systems and experience with precision equipment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Computer literate with experience using Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Knowledge of APS Calibration System or previous calibration experience.
Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, goal-driven mindset.
Willingness to learn, develop, and improve.
Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
ISO 9001:2015 and calibration systems.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
Familiarity with process control tools.
Desired Experience:
Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean principles.
Sage X3 knowledge.
Experience supporting CI events with suppliers.
