We have an exciting opportunity for an engineer with experience to join our small engineering team
The engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties within the engineering department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating, quality and may require assisting in other departments.
The successful candidate will be working under direct supervision of the engineering/quality manager and alongside the quality/purchases departments.

Engineer Position Overview:
Liaising with client and suppliers to identify requirements, improve design and manufacturer processes.
investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve new/existing parts.
overseeing projects from concept to manufacturing.
Assisting the development of new products with customer design engineers.
Design manufacturing processes using ANSYS SpaceClaim and use of casting simulation software (Altair Inspire Cast)
Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and within customer budget.
Inspection of part using CMM (FAROARM) and other precision measuring equipment i.e digital vernier to 3D scanning tool.
Investigating product failures, establishing liability, containment, root cause, corrective actions and preventative actions with the quality engineer.
Assisting another department when required.
Engineer Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience with 3D Modelling software, Preferable ANSYS SpaceClaim. (Beneficial but not required as in-house training will be provided)
Basic understanding of engineering technical/engineering drawings.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in changing environments and be able to be agile and react to changes in the project and product.
At least 3-years industrial experience.
Engineer Position Remuneration
Full Time Position (39 Hours) Monday to Friday
Salary starting at £30,000 - dependent upon experience
20 days plus bank holidays + 3 days for Christmas holiday
Bonuses based on company performance.
