Process/Manufacturing Engineer - 6 Months Contract with opportunity for extension or permanent employmentÂ

The company design and manufacture a range of electro-mechanical products for various high reliability sectors and are currently looking to take on a manufacturing engineering to implement, support and improve manufacturing processes.This job will be based at the company’s UK headquarters in Wiltshire. Job Role• In this role you will be part of a team who will be working to improve manufacturing processes in production cells and automated equipment.• Implement manufacturing processes• Overseeing technical issues• Development of specialist production equipment and tooling• Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques• Production of technical documentation• Promotion of material flow principles• Support training of production staff
This position would suit someone with a relevant engineering qualification such as and HNC or degree in mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or a proven track record in a similar role
Experience of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools will be required along with experience of introducing new products into manufacturing.
The ideal person will have the drive and initiative to be able to think for themselves and a passion for engineering excellence.
