JOB TITLE: Administrator

SALARY: £25,000 - £28,000

THE BUSINESS:

C4S Search are pleased to be partnering with a specialist in the engineering and manufacturing of respiratory protection equipment for military, law enforcement and fire personnel.

THE ADMINISTRATOR OPPORTUNITY:

As part of the engineering team, you will help create, enter, and manage technical documentation, including but not limited to Bills of Materials (BOMs), Change Requests, Change Control forms, and technical drawings.

  • Work alongside the Design/Engineering team to support the administrative management, control, and release of documentation.
  • Develop, define, and manage engineering BOMs in the MRP system, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Value Stream departments.
  • Facilitate, review, and support the release of controlled documents through internal change request procedures.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments.
  • Handle the preparation and placement of purchase orders.
  • Identify and suggest ways to improve efficiency in document control processes.
  • Compile, prepare, and present progress reports as required.
  • Assist with tender tasks and the preparation of submission documents.
  • Ensure internal documents are up to date and follow up on outstanding information.
  • Perform general administrative duties.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for maintaining, updating, and creating departmental documents.
  • Familiarity with document control procedures in regulated environments.
  • Self-driven with the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Capable of working independently and managing personal workload.
