Do you have supervisory experience within events, hospitality, retail, or similar industries? Do you possess excellent organisation and communication skills? Are you a positive individual, with a can-do attitude? If so, this could be the role for you!

Our client is seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join their team as a Part-Time Duty Manager. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organisation, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction is upheld.

Working hours for this role are on a rota basis and will be 30 hours per week.Being a hospitality/service industry type role, the hours of work involve weekends, evenings and Bank holidays to ensure cover for events being held.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of all daily operations
  • Setting up for events
  • Assist with event planning and coordination to ensure customer requirements are identified and adhered to
  • Liaise and coordinate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and support is provided
  • Manage stock, orders, and cash handling
  • Ensure facilities are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with regulations.
  • Responsible for managing a small team of bar staff
  • Create marketing material to advertise and promote upcoming events
  • Prepare areas for upcoming events
  • Administration tasks including raising invoices, filing and purchasing products for events
  • Carrying our risk assessments and fire safety checks to ensure they meet building regulation standards
  • Carry out front of house duties when required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • This can be a physically demanding role so you must be physically fit
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, off your own initiative, as well as part of a team
  • IT Literate
  • Previous experience setting up event spaces
