Job Title: Handy Person

Working pattern: Ad hoc hours on Days
Our client, a leading manufacturing business in Melksham, are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person who can carry out general maintenance duties and support activities required within their factory.
Responsibilities:
- General floor maintenance, removal of paintwork/relaying new
- Minor decorating and repairs
- Carrying out fitting/repair of signs/frames
- Dismantling/rebuilding and cleaning of cabinets
- Ensure assigned daily/weekly planned work schedule target is achieved.
- Adhering to H&S regulations
Requirements:
- Experience in performing various basic maintenance tasks in a factory environment (painting, carpentry, general DIY tasks)
- A confident and driven applicant, that demonstrates a proactive approach.
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and off own initiative when required
- Full UK driving licence as you will need to cover two sites
This role does not promise guaranteed hours on a consistent basis. The working hours will be flexible depending on job requirements week to week.
This role will offer an immediate start for the right candidate and will be on an ongoing temporary basis.
