We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded company a Product Testing Operative to join their engineering team. team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in product testing within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet strict industry standards and perform to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain test facilities and equipment, ensuring safe use, calibration, and servicing.
- Conduct physical and analytical tests to verify product performance and compliance.
- Support final testing and approval of production units.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Prepare test samples and compile reports.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and testing standards.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, and sales) as well as external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, and test laboratories).
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in product testing, quality control, or a related field.
- Familiarity with test equipment, calibration, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
