  • Week 1: Mon-Thurs 6:00 AM 2:30 PM, Fri 6:00 AM 1:30 PM
  • Week 2: Mon-Thurs 2:00 PM 10:30 PM, Fri 2:00 PM 8:30 PM.

Our client is a dynamic, forward-thinking manufacturing company located in a market town in Wiltshire. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality products, they are now seeking a Shift Quality Line Inspector to join their team and help maintain their high standards while supporting the continued success of their operations.


Scope of the Role:

Join a dynamic team as a Shift Quality Line Inspector and play a key role in ensuring top quality injection moulded parts.You'll use cutting edge tools like CMM and shadowgraphs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Read technical drawings and complete necessary measurement documentation.
  • Train operators on process control and documentation.
  • Validate first-off parts and conduct regular quality patrols on production machines.
  • Maintain and control gold samples, job packs, and inspection jigs/fixtures.
  • Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for inspections and reporting.
  • Manage quarantine areas, ensuring proper inspection, approval, or disposal of products.
  • Lead 100% inspection processes for specific products/customers.
  • Provide clear shift handovers and collaborate with the team on continuous improvements.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
  • Clock in/out accurately to ensure correct payroll and fire safety compliance.
  • Contribute ideas for efficiency and cost-saving improvementsinnovative suggestions are welcomed and rewarded!


Ideal Candidate:

  • Injection Moulding Knowledge (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to measure and evaluate parts using hand measuring devices, shadowgraphs/projectors, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) (training provided) to maintain quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong Attention to Detail & Quality Assurance
  • Ability to Interpret Technical Drawings & Specifications
  • Excellent Communication & Reporting Skills
  • Enthusiasm & Motivation to Succeed
  • Willingness to Learn & Undertake Internal & External Training
  • Willing and available to travel overseas for work occasionally.
